Aalia Dominique is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, who brings compassion, expertise, and a commitment to breaking down barriers. Adalia earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morgan State University and continued her academic journey by attaining a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

With over six years of dedicated experience, Adalia specializes in working with individuals within the Intellectual and Developmental population, catering to both adolescents and adults in the mental health field. Her comprehensive approach also includes valuable expertise in case management.

Adalia's passion for mental health is deeply rooted in her personal experiences growing up in Baltimore City. Observing a lack of resources and the stigma surrounding seeking assistance, she has dedicated herself to being an advocate for the field. Adalia firmly believes that everyone deserves access to mental health services, and she strives to make a positive impact on individuals' lives.

In her counseling practice, Adalia utilizes a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Holistic Therapy, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused approaches. This diverse toolkit allows her to tailor her methods to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a holistic and effective therapeutic experience.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Adalia finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends. She cherishes moments with her canine companion, embraces the world of cinema, delves into captivating books, and seeks inspiration through her travels.
