Ayomide Soyoye, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Ayomide Soyoye is a pre-licensed clinician with Bridges Wellness Group and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is an alumna of the University of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Ayomide’s passion for mental health counseling began early in life, driven by her deep desire to help others. This calling fuels her commitment to providing compassionate care and fostering spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Ayomide’s therapeutic approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, emphasizing the importance of clients’ autonomy and resilience. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, offering practical tools that address her clients’ unique needs. Ayomide believes in meeting clients where they are and partnering with them on their journey of progress, healing, and self-discovery.
Outside the counseling space, Ayomide is a self-proclaimed foodie who enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines. She finds joy in traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and diving into thought-provoking books. Clients working with Ayomide can expect a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment designed to help them achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being.
