Caleb Floyd, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Caleb Floyd is a dedicated pre-licensed clinician at Bridges Wellness Group, currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Bowie State University. He is an alumnus of Ball State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Studies with minors in Interpersonal Relations, Psychology of Human Development, and Social Work.

Caleb’s passion for mental health counseling stems from his commitment to supporting children of color who experience depression, anxiety, and neurological disorders such as ADHD. He is driven by the goal of increasing access to quality mental health care for underserved communities while challenging the stigma surrounding mental health.

With an eclectic therapeutic approach, Caleb integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. He is committed to providing culturally responsive care, meeting clients where they are, embracing their identities, and equipping them with the resources needed to thrive.

Outside of his clinical work, Caleb enjoys watching streaming services, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family. In sessions with Caleb, clients can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
