Gene’s therapeutic approach is both eclectic and integrative.  This approach allows him to draw on multiple evidenced-based therapy orientations and techniques to address his client’s needs. This avenue utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to help people understand how their thoughts influence relationships.

Within the therapeutic journey, he also assesses the individual’s specific needs by looking at their behavior, effect, cognitions, and physical health.  Last, his approach focuses on helping the client understand the stages and processes of making change.  By assisting the client in understanding and applying this knowledge, the client can work on achieving their goals, improving their relationships, and creating positive changes in their lives.

As you embark on a therapeutic journey with Gene, you can be assured that your concerns will be heard, valued, and respected. You will also know that you are in a safe space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self.
