Jada James, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Jada James is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern with a strong background in child and adolescent behavioral health, educational support, and crisis prevention. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has completed specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
Jada brings hands-on experience working with children and adolescents with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. Her professional background includes providing individualized behavioral support, implementing behavior intervention plans and individualized education programs, and utilizing data-driven approaches to functional behavioral assessment. She has experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities within structured educational settings.
Trained in crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies, Jada emphasizes maintaining safe, supportive, and inclusive environments while using the least restrictive interventions possible. Her clinical interests include child and adolescent mental health, behavior management, emotional regulation, and supporting youth through developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions.
