Ky’Shaun Bradford is a pre-licensed clinician for Bridges Wellness Group pursuing his Master of Arts in mental health counseling at Bowie State University. Ky’Shaun is an Alumnus of the University of Central Arkansas, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in addiction Studies with a focus on treatment. His passion for mental health counseling stems from his upbringing and throughout his undergraduate academic journey, realizing the lack of services provided for his community. He strives to provide adequate mental health counseling services to black bodies with the hope of changing the stigma and providing a safe space for all.
In his therapeutic approach, Ky’Shaun likes to implement an eclectic approach using various resources from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-focused therapy. He focuses on providing the appropriate resources that will benefit his clients and help them achieve their desired goals in life. He believes in meeting clients where they are, embracing who they are, and providing support in areas where it is needed.
In his free time, Ky’Shaun likes to socialize with friends and family, buy candles, explore new restaurants, and live in the moment. In sessions with Ky’Shaun, clients can expect a safe, supportive, authentic, and non-judgmental space to guide them toward achieving a positive overall mental well-being.
